Hebrews 13:21
John 14:27

News Flash – you’re a leader whether you like it or not. There will always be someone watching your every move. The only thing that will separate you from one side to the other is how you move – whether you are leading for the good or the bad. You’re someone’s co-sign whether you agree or disagree. You’re someone’s advocate whether you say something or nothing. You’re someone’s vote whether you go to the ballots or not.

You’re someone’s tool whether you do the job or not. But the only way to confirm what side you’re on is to be tested. You have to be put in certain situations before you can be placed in your destination. No action in His plan goes in vain. You’re never just placed in a situation just because. You have to earn your promotion. To do so, you have to stay faithful in your current conditions before you are placed in a better condition. You have to show you can handle it.

13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
1 Corinthians 10

He won’t put on you more than you can handle, so you have to show you can handle what you have before you are given what you want. You have to be submissive effectively. For every level of submission you encounter now, that dictates your level of influence you will provide later in life. The deeper you can dig now, the more strength you’ll have after. Gains.

But it’s not all about you. In everything you do for someone else, you also do for yourself. You have to be able to build someone else’s dream before you can build your own. Why? Because it shows dedication. It shows passion. It shows humility. It shows you can serve with a greater purpose. Just make sure you serve without concern for notoriety. You don’t have to promote what you do for the needy. And you don’t always have to agree with everything you do for someone. Sometimes you have to just acknowledge the fact that you might not want to do it, but you understand it’s a trade off – if you do this, God will do that. You don’t have to agree with things to get blessings from doing them. Tithing – you don’t have to agree with what the church chooses to do with the money, that’s on their faith. Your assignment is to give 10%, to show your faith on the financial level. Just be cheerful in your doings with a loving heart for the purpose.

You being a tool is not about your title or position on the hierarchy, but about the influence you can provide from your position. Think of a hammer. It’s not the largest or most expensive tool you can buy. It’s actually one of the simplest designed tools ever. But look at how many things you can fix with it. Out of the millions of homes across the world, how many have a bulldozer or crane? How many have a hammer?

Recognize your most important tool is your faith. You’re anointed to do the tasks you’re given, so remember there is nothing that could stop you from accomplishing them. Don’t worry about your oppositions. Fear nothing and no one. When God is with you, who can be against you?? Be the leader. Be the power. Be the hammer.

~The BoyScout

“Softly as if I played piano in the dark. Found a way to channel my anger now to embark. The world’s a stage & everybody’s gots to play their part. God works in mysterious ways so when he starts the job of speaking through us we be so sincere with this here. No drugs or alcohol so I can get the signal clear as day. Put my Glock away I got a stronger weapon that never runs out of ammunition so I’m ready for war, okay.” © Andre Benjamin – “ATLiens”
